This lovely house is located in the hills of the Garrotxa nature park, on 10 minutes from the medieval village called Besalu.
From this property you will have the most amazing views over the area.
Its is not exactly clear when this house was build but parchments prove the existence of the house more than 800 years ago.
The house has always been governed by the same family.
At present, generation 33, 34 and 35 from the same family are living in the house.
During the Peninsular War the house was fortified and two watchtowers are the remains of those days.
This house has 3 single-family houses.
The rental comprises a self-catering house, which is not to be shared with other groups. The apartments are in the same building, although with independent entries. It is possible to combine from 2 up to 11 places.
There is a house for 6 people and two houses for 4 people.

Apartment 1
The house for 6 people is located on the ground and first floors.
On the ground floor there is a hall, a fully equipped kitchen, a dinning room with household goods, a lounge with TV set and board games and a complete bathroom.
On the first floor, there are four double bedrooms and another fully equipped bathroom.
The house spreads over 150 m2 and has central heating, as well as bed linen or duvets (according to the season), blankets and towels.
Outside, the guests have at their entire disposal an area which is not to be shared with other groups, with:

· Stone mill as a table with chairs around it
Apartment 2
This apartment is one of the two houses designed for 4 people, and is located on the second and third floors, in spite of the fact that there is a back entrance located on the ground floor. The house is just like a duplex apartment: Ground floor with fully equipped kitchen, dinning room with TV set and board games and toilet.
On the top floor there are two double bedrooms and a fully equipped bathroom.
The house spreads over 75 m2 and has central heating, as well as bed linen or duvets (according to the season), blankets and towels.
Outside there is a large courtyard, which is to be shared by both houses, with:
